Life in the UK Test ("the App") is operated by Capitalizt Ltd, registered at 128 City Road, London, United Kingdom EC1V 2NX ("we", "us", "our").
We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
When you use the App, we collect the following information that you provide directly:
Account information: Your name, email address, and license key. This is used to identify your account and save your study progress.
Study progress: Your XP score, level, streak, questions answered, correct answers, mock test results, topic mastery percentages, and achievements. This data is stored so you can resume studying across sessions and devices.
Your progress data is stored in a secure cloud database hosted by Supabase (supabase.com), with servers located in the European Union. A backup copy is also stored locally on your device using your browser's localStorage.
Your data is transmitted over HTTPS (encrypted in transit) and stored securely at rest.
We use your information solely to provide the App's functionality: saving and restoring your study progress across sessions and devices. We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond delivering the service.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties. Your data is only processed by our cloud database provider (Supabase) for the purpose of storing and retrieving your progress.
The App is suitable for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 beyond the account information described above. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@capitalizt.com.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion, we will remove all your data within 30 days.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above.
